Setup

Step 1 - First App Run

Now that we have VisionKeys downloaded & installed, go ahead and open the application. Be sure you only open it once with a double click, or right-click + open. You''ll be greeted with the following screen:

NOTE: Appearance may vary slightly depending on version & operating system

Step 2 - Accessing General Settings

Proceed to settings, by clicking the settings button in the bottom right. The App should load the "General" panel of the settings screen and appear as the following:

Step 3 - Entering License

If you already have a license, you can enter it now. If you do not have a license click the "Need a license?" button to be directed to our subscription page. After checkout, you'll see a button to download your license key. You may also login to your customer portal with the email address you used during sign up to obtain the license key.

IMPORTANT: be certain to either record your stream deck serial number on this screen or record it directly off the bottom of the device if it's not currently plugged in. It's important to have the serial number available and CORRECT when purchasing a license to avoid any issues with the license assignment. If you do not yet have a stream deck avoid subscribing until a device is in hand. You can view the compatible devices on the Compatible Devices page.

Once you have a license and have entered it click "Back" in the bottom left to go back to the main App screen.

Starting VisionKeys

Before we can manage trade settings for an account VisionKeys needs to detect an account syncing from MetaTrader. To do this we click "Start" in the bottom left of the main screen. Before we do so, since this is our very first start of VisionKeys the Metatrader EA will automatically be installed for you. To be certain there are no hiccups in this process, please close all instances of MetaTrader.

REQUIREMENT: Your Stream Deck will need to be connected prior to starting VisionKeys. Also be sure no other application is utilizing the Stream Deck. Our application does not need or require any additional software other than the device connected to your computer.

If you receive a license error please refer to Troubleshooting License Errors

If you recieve a failed VisionKeys EA install error refer to Troubleshooting EA Install

If all is well with the license and the VisionKeys EA for MetaTrader verification, you should now see "Waiting on Metatrader..." on the button text where we initially saw "Verifying License...". If you look down at your Stream Deck you should see "Add EA to Metatrader" on the middle button:

This concludes the initial App setup! To continue with the initial MetaTrader setup please proceed here: Preparing MetaTrader
